Originally designed for an exotic dancer, we’ve decided to release this gown to our customers; for the woman who is a little nice and a little naughty, and just daring enough to be seen in the shearest of fabrics. Starting with a solid print high cut thong teddy,

add a toga skirt for a sexy dancing silk outfit.

Then add the shear under parts and the skirting for an elegant look with an edge…or, for those intimate moments, wear the shear under parts alone…

any way you decide, this outfit is a show stopper.

Ley-Ly’s Lucy

I’ve been watching a great deal of MeTV over the past few weeks since they moved Ellen to 3pm… leaving my 10am morning show slot severely lacking! I think I’ve likely seen every episode of “I Love Lucy,” but she still, after all these years, never fails to bring a smile to your face, or all out rolling on the floor laughter.

There were few episodes where Lucy was in formal wear, generally appearing in every day dresses. One of my recent favorites was when she wanted a designer dress, thinking the simpler one would be in her price range… “five hundred dollars…. doesn’t he know any other number?” So when she receives an offer from the designer where he will give her the dress for free, she jumps at the chance…however in the meantime, wanting to look good for the fashion show, she spends a bit too much time at the pool. Then, of course, the design she’s been designated to wear for the show is a tweed suit!

I love Lucy, and in honor of her simple but elegant style, we offer this tribute full tea-length gown in blue and white polka dot with red trim, matching hat and shoes!» More reading…

I’ve fallen in love with the series Downton Abbey…as a clothing designer, period dresses have always been a source of fascination. It’s no wonder, the show has inspired this design, named for one of the characters, the lovely, Lady Mary.

Capturing the air of a period in time when ladies and gentlemen formally dressed for dinner, minded their manners, and spoke civilly toward one another. Unfortunately, the women of that time were still very oppressed, and if you were born to a wealthy affluent family, marrying for love was often out of the question.

The tribute gown is a slim tight fitting full length gown with black lace bodice, waistband and scalloped hemline backed by the deepest violet chiffon fabric. Matching hat included.

Ley-Ly’s “Antoinette”

She was one of the saddest characters in history; born to a wealthy aristocratic family whose destiny was not of her own choosing.

In April 1770, on the day of her marriage to Louis-Auguste, Dauphin of France, she became Dauphine of France. Marie Antoinette assumed the title of Queen of France and of Navarre when her husband, Louis XVI of France, ascended the throne upon the death of Louis XV in May 1774. After seven years of marriage, she gave birth to a daughter, Marie-Thérèse Charlotte, the first of four children.

What would a young woman, who was expected to produce heir, but whose newly wedded husband refused to or was unable to have relations with his wife, Do… she threw herself into certain indulgences. While the people of the country were starving, they came to resent the extravagances of the royal family, and along with new ideas on equality and citizenship helped to fuel what became the French Revolution. Marie Antoinette became a victim of circumstance and was executed by beheading at the mere age of 38.

The tribute gown is a vibrant cherry silk fabric with glistening gold threads with rose chiffon trimming on the hips and right shoulder and rear bustle.» More reading…

In honor of the Winter Solstice which occurs on December 21st, Ley-Ly’s releases our goddess toga gown rightfully named for the Goddess Inanna, an Annunaki (those who from the heavens came).

We designed this gown for our regular model for a specific party event where she required a toga style outfit, putting our own twist on the design, we gave her a versatile outfit that could be worn a number of different ways; white toga cut top and bottom connected with gold chains; flowing silk style skirting with over the shoulder scarf.

Add the solid bottom base, leg prims and flowing skirt for a more modest look.
